Schouw Informatisering presents three releases
Faster implementations, role-based environments and clear business intelligence
Etten-Leur, December 15 th 2010 - Food-industry ERP specialist Schouw Informatisering closes off 2010 in style with the presentation of three releases. The first release is the launch of the Role Tailored client (RTC) on Dynamics NAV and food-specific ERP add-on SI Foodware®. The second software launch is a Business Intelligence solution for the food-industry: Food Management Dashboard. Implementation methodology SI FoodFit is the final product that is presented.
Role Tailored Client: operating ERP in a role-based environment
The combination of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SI Foodware is now available on the ‘Role Tailored Client’ (RTC). A role-based environment is what differentiates the RTC from the more static ‘classic’ environment, the standard for earlier versions. RTC users can choose from different roles that have been pre-defined (and can be customized) especially for their particular role within the organisation. The main advantage of the RTC is that users will only see the information that is relevant for their daily activities. Information is presented in a transparent and structured way. Reduced complexity and better task prioritization, resulting in improved productivity and fun. Dynamics NAV comes with a standard set of roles such as the Sales Order Processor, the Production Planner and the Accounting Manager. SI Foodware adds another set of food-specific roles to the solution (such as the Quality Manager), as well as adding food specific functionality to existing roles.
Gain grip on organizational processes with the Food Management Dashboard
Business Intelligence is a service that already is offered by Schouw Informatisering and now has fully been developed into the Food Management Dashboard. It enables you to make decisions based on all the information that is registered within your organization. The Food Management Dashboard makes this information transparent with clear reports that show which processes function right and which ones deserve attention. Schouw Informatisering offers a standard set of KPI’s and reports specifically for the food industry that will result in control of processes, avoiding risks and reducing costs.
Better and faster ERP implementations with SI FoodFit
SI foodFit is a methodology with complimentary tools that helps increase the quality of an ERP implementation course. The length of the course will also be reduced in most cases. The experience of Schouw Informatisering with 120 implementation courses has been documented in a standard implementation methodology. This experience makes it possible to classify all food companies in particular types of companies. Typology of food companies is based on the criteria trade or produce, as well as fresh products, short shelved products or long shelved products. Standard methodology and tools have been developed for companies in these classifications. This shortens the length of the implementation course without decline of quality.
