Food & Beverage Seminar 2011
Schouw Informatisering organized their Food & Beverage Seminar last April 13th in Amsterdam. This annual event for our customers and other relations is based on a well proven formula: a mixture of informative lectures and entertaining speeches. All lectures and speeches have one thing in common: passion for food and beverage.

The event venue of this year was Microsoft Headquarters at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam. Our host of the day Theo Maas performed the kick off in the morning by announcing that Schouw Informatisering is now Microsoft Partner for Gold competencies ERP and ISV. Chief Operations Officer Serge Breugelmans was up next. He informed us with the upcoming improvements in the operation structure and service of Schouw Informatisering.

William van Zweeden of our European Research Center (ERC) took us on a journey through the past, present and future of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. He also provided us with a sneak preview of the upcoming functionality of SI Foodware. Chairman Johan van Wensen of the independent SI Foodware User Group emphasized the importance of the input the User Group delivers, both for themselves as well as Schouw Informatisering.

An entertaining view of food concepts around the world. Jord Althuizen of Food Inspiration showed the audience the most weird, the most impressive and most promising concepts in the global food retail and service industry. Food will never be the same once you have seen squeezed bacon out of a plastic bottle...

A guided tour through Microsoft HQ was the last activity of the day. In the afternoon we closed the event with drinks and tapas. The event was a great success and we look forward to Food & Beverage Seminar edition 2012!
