Third class of trainees has started at Schouw Informatisering
Etten-Leur, 20-09-2011 - For the third consecutive year the Trainee Program of Schouw Informatisering has kicked off. This year four enthusiastic participants started with their first training on the 1st of September. With the start of a new traineeship, Schouw once again offers recently graduates and young professionals a chance to step into the world of Food and ERP.
Former trainee Joris Kolff confirms that the SI Trainee Program proved to be a good transition from school to a profession. "The SI traineeship is hard work, but you will learn a lot. After finishing the program you are trained to work as an ERP consultant in an international organization." In this role, ERP consultants advise customers in the food industry regarding the management and setup of company processes. They indicate what possibilities are available and applicable within ERP solution and create a functional setup design.
Expansion
Schouw offers an ERP solution based on Microsoft Dynamics® combined with SI Foodware®, the add-on specifically for companies in the food and beverage sector. Schouw Informatisering already is the market leader in the Dutch food and beverage industry with this combination, but are now expanding their business by taking this successful product to the rest of the world. To accommodate this growth Schouw is in need of ERP and Food professionals. These professionals are difficult to find in the current market however. Therefore Schouw Informatisering has started its traineeship three years ago. If you can’t find the right professional, then create the right professional.
The Program
During the half year program, trainees gain knowledge, skills and actual project experience. They will obtain knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, SI Foodware, Project methodologies, the food and beverage industry and all functional business processes. Furthermore they will receive training in presentation and consultancy skills. For gaining actual project experience, trainees will work in various departments, visit food companies and assist in actual projects. Trainees can also achieve valuable certificates from both Microsoft and Schouw Informatisering. Moreover, after successfully completing the SI Trainee Program, the trainees get the chance to work as a Junior Consultant at Schouw Informatisering.
Joris Kolff: "The trainee program gave me a head start as a consultant and I am working on some great projects now. I am sure that the new trainees will do great and be off great value to Schouw Informatisering and our clients in the near future."
