Eosta selects Schouw Informatisering as IT partner
Peter Stijkel, financial director at Eosta, and John Schouw, director of Schouw Informatisering, shake hands firmly after signing the contract for the implementation of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision at Eosta. After a case study in which Schouw Informatisering inventoried the IT requirements at Eosta, the two parties have reached an agreement. The foundation has been laid for a good start: at the time the contract was signed, both parties know exactly what will be delivered, who is responsible for what, what the costs will be and when the project will be completed.
Eosta, European worldwide distributor of organic fresh fruit and vegetables will use Navision as well as some sector specific Fruit & Vegetable solutions developed by Schouw Informatisering. This software is a perfect fit to Navision and is supplied and maintained by Schouw Informatisering as standard software. The Schouw Informatisering Fruit & Vegetable solutions encompass the financial administration, purchase order administration, sales order administration and lot administration, including sales on account and settlement. The lot administration is the spill of the Fruit & Vegetable solution. Within the Fruit & Vegetable solution specific functionality for the Fruit & Vegetable sector has been added for various parts of the business whereby the system fits the business processes in the fruit & vegetable sector seamlessly. Eosta expects to go live with the system in January 2004.
